The co-drivers view: Hamburg Elbtunnel

One of the longest underwater tunnels worldwide is the Elbtunnel in het german city of Hamburg. The Elbtunnel has a lenght of 3.1 kilometers (1.9 miles) and is a major river crossing, part of the Autobahn A7 that runs from northern Europe to the south. It has opened in 1975 and since then has been expanded to 8 lanes in 4 bores.

In this video, we drive from the north to the south on an early morning. After passing the tunnel a small part of the harbor and the "Köhlbrandbrücke" can be seen.
